Adoration
Adoration has resumed in Julianstown on Wednesday after 10 am Mass and on Thursday after 10 am Mass in Stamullen. All welcome, just come along….
Children’s Liturgy

We are inviting parents who would like to act as leaders or ‘helpers’ (handing out work sheets etc.) at children’s liturgy on Sunday mornings during 10 am Mass. If you would like to help please contact Colin at 087-9484216, any member of the Children’s Liturgy team or the parish office.
The True Light Prayer Group
Our Prayer Meeting take place on Tuesdays from 8 – 9.30pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen. Join us for prayer, praise and scripture. We welcome all who have a desire to seek God in His word and in prayer.
The Golden Girls
Trip to Mt. Usher on the 21st September, bus leaves Stamullen at 10.30 am arriving back 6pm approx. Cost €20.50 which entrance to the gardens…. Nathan Carter show in the TLT Theatre on 11th December. Tickets €32 can be purchased direct from the theatre & transport can be arranged by ourselves.

Stamullen Tidy Towns
If you have an hour or two to spare (on any day) and would like to help out with Tidy Towns please contact any member of the committee and we will set up a rota for people who can provide occasional help.
Weekly village tidy takes place every Saturday. Meet at Stamullen Church at 11.

Stamullen Road Club
With the Cycle Race season over for 2016, we are turning our thoughts to fund-raising for 2017.
The plan is that on Friday, 25th November we will be holding our annual Poker Classic in Whyte’s, Stamullen and this will be followed up on Saturday, 17th December with Monster Christmas Draw, again in Whytes.
We ask that all clubs’ please take note of these dates so as to avoid any clashes of fund-raising activities. Thanks.
Atomic Fitness – Defibrillator in Stamullen
Thanks to parishioners and all of the Atomic Fitness members who donated to help us collect a massive €6300! We raised enough money to buy TWO Defibrillators plus training equipment and medical bags for the Stamullen First Responder Group.
The community defibrillator is now installed on the church wall in Stamullen Village and the Defibrillator can be accessed by anybody at anytime. The unit lights up at night, has an anti-frost heater and is protected by a tamper alarm and CCTV cameras.
Also thanks to the following local businesses for helping us out with very generous donations and support Dee’s Barbers, Centra Stamullen, Alan McKenna Electrical, Whytes resturant, Stamullen Physio and Eric Ronan Photography.
Drama School Julianstown
Theatricality is a new Drama School which will operate on a Saturday from Julianstown Community centre. The mission of the school is to enable children to reach their full potential through creative expression and exploration, the development of new skills and capacities and the growth of self esteem and interpersonal skills all while having lots and lots of fun.
The facilitators, Michelle Reade and Réidin Dunne have over 20 years experience working with children and young people, they are actors directors and theatre makers. The school caters for aged 6-8, 9-12 and 12 plus. The school will facilitate children in speech articulation and voice control, performance techniques, developmental group work with a serious focus on serious fun!

Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Wednesday 21st September from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in B.A.S.E, Brackenstown Road, Swords, Co. Dublin. The guest speaker for the evening is Peter Hanlon. This is a free event open to all bereaved parents. Knitting for the homeless
The Sunflower Cafe knitting group are asking for donations of wool, in double knitting, aran and chunky weights. Donations can be left into the Sunflower Cafe in Sonairte, Julianstown anytime from Tuesday to Sunday.
Also if any knitters/crocheters are free on Tuesday mornings from 10am and would like to help with this project, the group meets at 10am. For further information please contact Eileen Butler on 086-7347789.

Columban Ecological Institute
On 8th October from 9:30-4 pm We are hosting an Autumn Day in Dalgan entitled ‘Where have all the flowers gone? The wonderful – and unseen – world of seeds and fruits.’ As usual, we will be guided by John Feehan who will share his unique and thought-provoking insights into the unseen and wonderful world of seeds, fungi and fruits.
