Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Bridget Smith, sister of Fr. Philip Smith,  whose funeral took place in Stamullen on Friday morning.

First Communion Ceremonies

We would like to congratulate children from Whitecross NS, who took their First Communion on Saturday in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gormanston.

We ask parishioners to pray for these, and all our young parishioners who have received their First Communion this year.

 

Moorechurch Cemetery

Cemetery Sunday in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 7th July at 11:30 am.

 

Stamullen Cemetery

Mass in Stamullen Cemetery will take place on Friday, 21st June at 7:30 pm.

Adoration Stamullen

All are welcome to Adoration of the most Blessed Sacrament:

  • In Stamullen after10 am Mass every Thursday until 5pm.  (If you wish to add your name to the list, please contact Teresa on 087-6757581 or Sheila on 086-058580)
  • In Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am and after 10 am Mass.  (Contact Josephine if you wish to add your name to the list).

 

St. Anthony’s Novena

Join us in St, Peter’s Church, West Street, Drogheda for St. Anthony’s Novena from Wednesday, 5th to Thursday 13th June at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm Daily (except Saturday, 8th when masses will be 10:30 am and 6:15 pm).

Then on Sunday June, 9th Mass at 11 am and Holy Hour at 7:30 pm.

Finally on, Thursday, 13th June: Blessing of Lilies at both Masses, Blessing of Children at 4 pm, Closing Mass at 7:30 pm.

 

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Bishop Deenihan will lead the 2019 Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which takes place from 9th to 14th September 2019.

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Louth Meath Down Syndrome

A Summer concert by the Tredagh Singers with The Celtic Choir, Berlin, is taking place in the Augustinian Church, Drogheda on Friday, 31st May at 8pm.  Raffle on the night. Tickets €15 available from Clare on 087-6383477.  All proceeds to Louth Meath Down Syndrome.

 

Lá Spraoi

Join us in Coláiste na hInse for Lá Spraoi (Community Day) on Saturday, 25th May from 11 am to 3 pm.  Fun and games, dance classes, inflatables, sports and live music.

 

Stamullen Road Club

Last week the club was well represented in the Tour of the Mournes race and although they raced and finished on the same time as the winners they were out of the prizes.

Sunday (today) would have been the start of Ras week and unfortunately as it won’t be happening this year  there is a gap in the Yearbook regarding racing fixtures for the next two weekends.

Tús

Exciting opportunity to avail of 19.5 hours work placement in your local area. Meath Partnership is currently seeking to expand the number of participants on the Tús Scheme. Tús is a one year community work placement scheme for people who are unemployed for more than twelve months and in receipt of a jobseeker’s payment. Participants receive a top up payment, while maintaining all secondary benefits. Minimum payment is €225.50 per week. You will also receive dedicated one to one career support, C.
