Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Luke McGuirk, Gormanston,  whose funeral took place in Julianstown during the week.

Exams 2019

We remember all our young parishioners about to sit the Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams.  A prayer to the Holy Spirit on their behalf would be most appreciated…..

  • We have a small number of Mass cards for Exam success available in the Sacristy. €5 each.

 

First Friday Calls

  • First Friday callsfor June will take place next Thursday, 6th June.
  • If you know of anyone in the parish who would welcome a visit from Declan, please contact the parish office to include them on the list.
  • If you know of any parishioners in hospital who would appreciate a visit from Fr. Declan, please let us know.

 

Moorechurch Cemetery

Cemetery Sunday in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 7th July at 11:30 am.

 

Stamullen Cemetery

Mass in Stamullen Cemetery will take place on Friday, 21st June at 7:30 pm.

 

Kilsharvan Cemetery

Blessing of Graves in Kilsharvan Cemetery will take place on Tuesday, 9th July at 7:30 pm.

Adoration Stamullen

All are welcome to Adoration of the most Blessed Sacrament:

  • In Stamullen after10 am Mass every Thursday until 5pm.  (If you wish to add your name to the list, please contact Teresa on 087-6757581 or Sheila on 086-058580)
  • In Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am and after 10 am Mass.  (Contact Josephine if you wish to add your name to the list).

 

St. Anthony’s Novena

Join us in St, Peter’s Church, West Street, Drogheda for St. Anthony’s Novena from Wednesday, 5th to Thursday 13th June at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm Daily (except Saturday, 8th when masses will be 10:30 am and 6:15 pm).

Then on Sunday June, 9th Mass at 11 am and Holy Hour at 7:30 pm.

Finally on, Thursday, 13th June: Blessing of Lilies at both Masses, Blessing of Children at 4 pm, Closing Mass at 7:30 pm.

 

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Bishop Deenihan will lead the 2019 Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which takes place from 9th to 14th September 2019.

Meath Lourdes Hospitality Group

If parishioners know any Hospital pilgrims who would like to travel with the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, from 9th to 14th September, and need some help with the fare, please contact Lily on 087-6978783.

 

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock

Led by Bishop Tom Deenihan with the Meath Diocesan Choir.  Confession from 11 am to 5 pm.  Anointing of the Sick at 2:30 pm.  Pilgrimage Mass at 3 pm followed by Benediction, Rosary, Procession to the Shrine and Blessing of Religious objects.  For further details contact www.knockshrine.ie. Lough Derg three Day Pilgrimage

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

IBTS

The opportunity to give blood will arise at Scoil Oilibhéir Naofa, Bettystown on Thursday, 13th June from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.  It is important that we remember that many patients in hospitals need our blood, and this need never ceases.

 

Stamullen Road Club

Last Sunday at Emyvale GP it was yet again young Aoibhinn Sharkey who visited the podium to pick up 3rd prize. It’s nice to see the younger members coming to the fore. The senior members competed in the afternoon race also in Emyvale.

The club is always open to new members and at present there is great interest in the off-road events with emphasis on Leisure.  If interested please contact any club member.

  3. U12 Hurling League Roinn A takes place at 2pm in Ashbourne.  Donaghmore/Ashbourne v St.Patrick’
  4. Cake Sale: Our Junior teams will hold a Cake Sale in the Parish Centre next Saturday and Sunday before and after Mass.

Duleek Fair Weekend

Duleek Fair Weekend takes place from Friday, 28th until Sunday, 30th  June with fun, entertainment and activities for people of all ages. There will be several stalls on the village green on the Sunday. Fleadh Laighean

Fleadh Laighean (Leinster Fleadh) takes place in Athboy/ Ráth Chairn 8th-14th July 2019. As part of this week of events, organisers are delighted to announce a series of free inclusive workshops for people with additional needs, facilitated by music and dance therapists. Tús

Exciting opportunity to avail of 19.5 hours work placement in your local area. Meath Partnership is currently seeking to expand the number of participants on the Tús Scheme. Tús is a one year community work placement scheme for people who are unemployed for more than twelve months and in receipt of a jobseeker’s payment. Participants receive a top up payment, while maintaining all secondary benefits. Minimum payment is €225.50 per week. You will also receive dedicated one to one career support, C.
