We would like to congratulate Tara Battersby & Colm Clarkin who were married in Stamullen this week.  We wish them both every blessing for the future.

 

Sacraments in the Parish:  Baptism

This  weekend we welcome in Baptism: Tadhg Calvey & Faith Russell.  May all newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.   We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.

 

Exams 2019

We remember all our young parishioners who are sitting the Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams at the moment.  A prayer to the Holy Spirit on their behalf would be most appreciated……

 

Stamullen Cemetery

Mass in Stamullen Cemetery will take place on Friday, 21st June at 7:30 pm.

 

Moorechurch Cemetery

Cemetery Sunday in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 7th July at 11:30 am.

 

Kilsharvan Cemetery

Blessing of Graves in Kilsharvan Cemetery will take place on Tuesday, 9th July at 7:30 pm.

Do This in Memory (DTIM)

The final Mass will take place on Sunday, 23rd June, the Feast of Corpus Christi: St. Patrick’s NS will join the congregation at 10 am in St. Patrick’s church, Stamullen and Whitecross NS will join the congregation at 11:30 am Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown.

All young parishioners who received their first Holy Communion this year are welcome.

Adoration – Summer times

  • Adoration of the most Blessed Sacramentin Stamullen has finished for the summer and will resume in September.

 

  • Adoration continues in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am and after 10 am Mass.  (Contact Josephine if you wish to add your name to the list).

 

St. Anthony’s Novena

Join us in St, Peter’s Church, West Street, Drogheda for St. Anthony’s Novena every day until Thursday 13th June at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm Daily.

Sunday June, 9th Holy Hour at 7:30 pm.

Finally on, Thursday, 13th June: Blessing of Lilies at both Masses, Blessing of Children at 4 pm, Closing Mass at 7:30 pm.

 

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Bishop Deenihan will lead the 2019 Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which takes place from 9th to 14th September 2019.

Meath Lourdes Hospitality Group Church gate collection

The Meath Lorurdes Hospitality group have been granted a permit to hold a Church Gate collection on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.

 

If parishioners know any Hospital pilgrims who would like to travel with the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, from 9th to 14th September, and need some help with the fare, please contact Lily on 087-6978783.

 

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock:  11th August

Led by Bishop Tom Deenihan with the Meath Diocesan Choir. Confession from 11 am to 5 pm.  Anointing of the Sick at 2:30 pm.  Pilgrimage Mass at 3 pm followed by Benediction, Rosary, Procession to the Shrine and Blessing of Religious objects.  For further details contact www.knockshrine.ie. Lough Derg – Three Day Pilgrimage

U11 Boys Football League takes place on Wednesday, 12th  June in Dunboyne at 7pm. St. Peter’s v St. Patrick’s.

Anam Cara

Anam Cara North Dublin, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 19th June at 7:20pm in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin.

This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. Please note there will be no events in July or August, please contact us on info@anamcara.ie or 085 2888 888 for any queries.

 

ADHD Parent Support Group

Would you like to join our Skerries ADHD Parent Support Group for a casual coffee morning?  Come and join us in Skerries Mills Coffee shop on Monday, 10th June at 10 am for a chat. We will discuss concerns, issues and ADHD experiences at home and school.  “Just remember you are not alone.”

 

Duleek Fair Weekend

Duleek Fair Weekend takes place from Friday, 28th until Sunday, 30th  June with fun, entertainment and activities for people of all ages. There will be several stalls on the village green on the Sunday. Fleadh Laighean

Organisers of Leinster Fleadh 2019 are delighted to announce a series of free inclusive workshops for people with additional needs at this year’s event in Athboy, Co. Meath. To help promote and raise awareness there will be an information evening on Wednesday 12th June from 6-8pm in Athboy Convent Community Centre (Kildalkey rd). The Inclusive Workshops will run as part of the Leinster Fleadh programme from Monday, 8th to Friday, 12th July. While the workshops are free of charge each potential participant will attend on just one of the days and must register in advance.  You can download the application form from www.leinsterfleadh.ie under the heading ‘Inclusive Workshops’.
