World Meeting of Families – Papal Mass
We are looking at the idea of organising a bus to bring parishioners to the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park on 26th August.
In order to get an idea of numbers we would be grateful if you would express an interest by completing the form which is available beside the Newsletters in both Churches.

Re: Tickets for the Final Mass on Sunday 26th August 2018
The Final Mass for WMOF2018 will be a free ticketed event. Every adult and child in attendance will require a ticket to access the venue.
At the moment the tickets for the Final Mass in the Phoenix Park are not directly available on general release until we have completed our consultations with the relevant statutory agencies on capacity, transport, security, safety and other issues. When these tickets become available they will be free. Further details will be released in the coming weeks.

Accessing Final Mass tickets when booking for the Congress
A first level of access is available for people attending the three day of Congress that will take place from the 22nd -24th August 2018. Booking a three day or a one day registration to the WMOF2018 Congress guarantees the opportunity at the same time to book a free ticket to the Final Mass at time of registration.
First Communion Ceremonies
First Communion Ceremonies will take place in the Church of the Immaculate conception, Gormanston on 12th May (St. Patrick’s NS) and St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown on 19th May (Whitecross NS).
We ask parishioners to pray for all children in the parish who are preparing for First Communion this year.
PTAA Pilgrimage to Knock
The annual PTAA Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday, 20th May this year.
The bus will leave Stamullen at 7:45am and Julianstown at 8am. The cost of the day is €30, which includes refreshments in Longford on the way down. May Day Procession
The Annual May Day Procession in honour of Our Lady and St. Joseph the Worker will take place on Tuesday, 1st May. Assembling at Lourdes Church and departing at 6:45 pm sharp to arrive at St. Peter’s Church, West Street for Mass at 7:30 pm.
All are asked to come and support the Procession this year to pray for God’s blessing on the families of Ireland and for the Protection of Life from conception to natural death.
Adoration
If you would like to spend some time in quiet prayer with the Lord, please join us for one hour, in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass on Wednesday and in Stamullen after 10 am Mass on Thursday.
Adoration in Drogheda – Every Friday in May
Following the huge success of the 40 hours of Adoration in St. Mary’s Church, James Street earlier this month, we would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make this weekend of Adoration so special.
Come adore the Lord of Life. Visit the Adoration Chapel in St. Mary’s Church, Drogheda every Friday in May for quiet prayer for the Protection of Life. All very welcome.
True Light Prayer Group
The True Light Prayer group meetings continue on Tuesdays, from 8 – 9:30 pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen. Come just as you are and share in God’s word through praise and scripture. All very welcome.

Meals on Wheels – Drivers needed
We are looking for volunteer drivers to help with delivering meals to senior citizens in the Stamullen and Julianstown area on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week.

Stamullen Road Club
Cian Delaney finished a very creditable 5th in last week’s Waller Cup Senior A1 Race and it was really great to see all of the Stamullen riders perform well in their respective races.
This weekend the riders will head to Kilkenny for the Deenside Cup with race H/Q at Erins Own GAA grounds.

Gormanston Beach Clean-up
Please note the clean up of Gormanston Beach continues on the first Saturday of every month. Why not join us at 10 am at Delvin River Viaduct next Saturday, 5th March. Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.

Stamullen Bowls
At the recent AGM of the Bowls the following officers were appointed: Dave Hall: Chairperson, Ralph Bull: Secretary, Niall Moore: Treasurer, Asst Treasurer: Harry Daly, PRO: Rose Mc Grath, Selector: Harry Daly, Asst: Dave Hall. Pat Murphy RIP
Pat Murphy, who died recently, was a very respected member of the Bowls club. Pat worked tirelessly on behalf of the bowls and participated in all activities. He will be sadly missed by all members. We offer our sympathies to the Murphy family.
