Bingo Night

Trócaire boxes can be returned to the Church or Parish Office.  For security reasons please leave boxes in churches during Mass times only.

 

First Communion Day – Stamullen

Congratulations to the children from St. Patrick’s NS who made their First Holy Communion this Saturday. We would like to thank their teachers and all who helped prepare them for this special day.

First Holy Communion ceremony will take place in St. Mary’s church, Julianstown next Saturday, 13th May at 11 am for Children from Whitecross NS.

We ask parishioners to pray for these children and all the children from the parish who are preparing to take their First Communion this year.

 

Parish Pilgrimage

We are travelling from 11th-16th August and the cost is €850 p.p.s. (€25 per night single supplement). Booking Forms available in both Churches.

Adoration

All welcome to spend some time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament through the day in Julianstown on Wednesday from 9 am and continuing after 10 am Mass.

Adoration returns in Stamullen on Thursday 27th April after 10 am Mass  to 5pm.

 

Annual Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock

The annual Stamullen/Julianstown Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday, 21st May this year. The cost of the day is €30, and this includes tea/coffee and sandwiches on the way down in The Longford Arms Hotel. The bus will leave Stamullen at 7:45am, and Julianstown at 8am.  Contact Ann on 01-8411267, Mary on 086-2309910 or Colm on 086-8056138 to reserve your seat. Non-Pioneers are VERY welcome to join us on this special day!!

 

The True Light Prayer Group

If you who have a desire to seek God in His word and in prayer why not come along to our Prayer Meeting on Tuesdays from 8-9.30pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen.

 

Meath Diocese Pilgrimage to Knock

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Our Lady`s Shrine at Knock takes place on Sunday 13th August 2017 and will be led by Bishop Michael Smith and the choir for the Mass is the Meath  Diocesan Choir.

 

St. Oliver’s Pilgrim Walk

St. Oliver’s Pilgrim Walk is organised by the Knights of St. Columbanus and involves a pilgrim walk around Drogheda’s seven beautiful churches (3.2Km). It takes place this year on Friday, 26th May and Saturday, 27th May starting at Our Lady of Lourdes Church via, St. Peter’s Church of Ireland, Augustinian Church, St. Mary’s, Holy Family Church, St. Mary Magdalene’s Dominican Church and finishing at St. Peter’s Church where the Shrine of St. Oliver Plunkett and his holy relics are located.

Pilgrims can complete the walk on either day between 10.30 am and 4.30 pm or it can be completed over the two days.

 

Anam Cara

Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Wednesday, 10th May from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.  This is a free event. We will need to confirm numbers for event, so please RSVP to info@anamcara.ie before Tuesday 9th May or call 01-4045378.

Julianstown Parent, Baby and Toddler Group

The Julianstown Baby and Toddler group are delighted to advise that the group will now operate on two mornings a week.  The existing Wednesday morning session continues as usual in the Julianstown Community centre but from Friday, 5th  May a second session will run in the Julianstown Parish Rooms on the Laytown Road.  Come and have a cuppa while your little one interacts with other children. Stamullen Road Club

This weekend the cycle race events will be taking place at Moy, Co. Tyrone with the Tour of Ulster 3-Day.  The O’Leary Stone Kanturk: 3-Day and on Sunday the Frank O’Rourke Memorial in Camross, Wexford. On Tuesday 2nd May the Mondello series will be taking place at 7:30pm.

 

Star of the Sea AC

Results:  Derek Hussey had a great win in the Navan Road Club Summer League on Tuesday night.  In the McNally Swords H/C League, Arek Klus finished (2nd) and Sean Landers (6th).

This week’s racing: Saturday, Dunsany GP, Sign On at Dunsany GAA H/Q and race starts at 11 am.

Sunday: Tour of Mournes, Sign-On at Newry Sports Centre and race starts at 10:30.

Tuesday: Navan Road Club League and Mondello Series. (7:30pm).

Friday: Banbridge Criterium (7 pm).

 

St.  Patrick’s Club – Lotto

  3. Div 1 League on Wednesday, 10thMay at 7.30pm in Navan. O’ Mahony’s v St. Patrick’s
  4.
